I use a battery blanket wrapped around the base of the tank, (the type that plugs in). Never had to do the regulator. Down to -45C or soStarting to see some seasonable weather here. In the high teens low 20s.
Had to put heat tape on the propane regulator to keep the condensation from freezing. Also kitchen pipes, and outlet pipe for the sump pump froze.
Supposed to be above 50 next week.

Some of them can be quite bad. Like a dense fog for a minute or two. Thankfully, they don't happen a whole lot here.
I guess if you have that many people that ask, it's a good thing sonce they normally don't have to deal with it. Bad when they do and don't know what to do.
