Todays weather

lots of the smoke, could smell it.
world coming to an end.

I was outside all damn day looking for the end. very disappointed.

It’s hazy here. The rain stopped on Tuesday. Long enough to be able to pack the gear without it being more than damp. it makes the drying out portion quicker and easier. Sadly, the forecast may put a damper on the neighbor’s Independence Day party plans this weekend.

Pretty much normal for this time of year, short of Canadian smokey haze of course.

We had a dry spring and summer. Rained pretty good this week, but before that it hadn’t rained since early April.

Hazy all day Wednesday and Thursday from the smoke. I went out for lunch on Thursday and started coughing and kept coughing all afternoon even inside my office. Didn't smell anything though.

Was going to cut the grass today but rain and thunder just started.

It rained for 26 days during June in maine. The number of hours of sunshine I saw all month can be counted on my hands. Average temp was probably 65.

Now... we got all the sun in the world and the heat index is gonna be over 90 within the next couple hours lol. Gah.

The rain finally stopped for us but not 26 days work. The humidity spiked to 100% for a good portion of the day before dropping to 75%.

Today it’s 90 with 60% humidity and the feel like temp is 100 according to weatherbug. Needless to say, I’m staying in the shade as much as possible if outside. Running for getting ready for the physical fitness test in October will wait until about sunset.

Earlier it was 80's and humid, now it's 68 with 88% humidity, lightning has been flashing around the house and- in the words of the old guy who ran the shop when I started- "it's rainin' like a cow pissin' offen a flat rock".

The weather is still doing it’s early summer raining very often BS. At least the temp has kinda leveled out.

The one surplus military hammock with the mosquito netting was a big fail. The side aprons for the roof aren’t wide enough to keep the rain out of the netting. I’ll roll a synthetic fabric tarp I have in the basement with it and try it again next time and see what happens.

The forecast for the weekend is hellfire! That's what it feels like when the temperatures go from 80 to 109. in three days.

This morning's low was 66. That's slightly warm for a low here. Tomorrow's low is forecast to be 71. That is very warm, but not unheard of. The lows in the foothills above the nocturnal inversion is expected to be near 80.

High 80s here. Super humid this morning, then we got some extreme rain for a few minutes. Trees and power lines down everywhere.

Power is out and the humidity is up.

temps ok but it's my turn for the smoke-out. outside everything has a yellowish tint.

About 90 today, still humid but not that bad.

Riptides were bad at the beach from the storm yesterday, creek and river are muddy too. Couldn’t go swimming so I stood in front of the AC eating a blue flavored ice pop.
