But it rained an hour ago.

We had a bad thunderstorm yesterday. At 8:30am, the sky was about as dark as it was at 6:00am. The power blipped and caused us 3 hrs of heavy work and headaches trying to get the paint shop equipment running again. It was not a fun day.

It will be slightly hot this weekend (95-100), then up to around 105 Tuesday, then back down to 100 the rest of the week.
The NWS forecast is showing a dewpoint increase to around 60 degrees tonight through next week, which is right about where it starts to make the humidity noticeable on a hot day. Along with that comes a few small thunderstorms, mostly in the Cascades and Sierra Nevada.

Well our Temps are gonna be mid 90s the next few day I know it's not as bad as some of ya but for us in the pnw we don't like it lol. We had a bit of a wild fire from a out of control wild fire on the military base. But it's kinda funny how if they actually put resources into it they can put them out fairly quickly. A few c130 tankers dumping water took the oomph out of it

The forecast is for a high of 96 with a dewpoint of 60. We have southernly flow moving in from the south that has been bringing in a little humidity. 95 for tomorrow with dewpoints increasing to 65 to 70 (which is very rare) as the moisture from the the remnants of Tropical Storm Hillary moves north, then decreasing to the upper 50s for the rest of the week. The low from the tropical storm is actually moving along the coast, but most of the moisture is to the east of the Sierra Nevada. That means there is going to be some good thunderstorms and heavy rain as the low advects this moisture over the mountain range. Sacramento is on the leeward side for this weather, so very little rain is expected from it here.

It’s been unusually wet for this time of year and cooler than normal. My grass is loving it. I imagine my garden would as well if I had gotten it finished when I wanted. Instead, the money has gone into more pressing things like car repairs.

Got in it to go home for lunch and without starting it my autometer coolant temp gauge was saying 135. Truck hadn't ran in 4.5 hours.

It's only 91 degrees here right now. 47%humididity for a heat index of only 95 degrees. But I'm doing all outside stuff today. Bought a new battery for the Fun50, then charged A/C systems on the Fun50 and F250 beast. Next is to wash them. I'm hoping to put the Fun50 on Marketplace this weekend and get it sold. Advance Auto made a good profit off me today.

It's cool here in NW Florida. Temp of 97° with a 106° heat index. I'm not exaggerating. That's cool. Only a 9° difference is awesome for August. Supposed to be over 100° for the next 5 days though, so it's only a small victory.
