Todays weather

Spring is edging in here in the central midwest. Grass is full spring green, bushes and apple trees are leafing out. A warm week ahead, we’ll be mowing this weekend.

This time of year here is wet, with moisture coming up from the gulf, fighting Canadian cold fronts periodically.

So much for global warming. Looks more like global cooling to me.

Word has it that the sun is moving into a solar minimum. So the seasons and the temperature norms are shifting.

I have noticed that what would be considered normal temperatures for Spring, Summer, and Fall have been delayed the last couple of years and winters have been a bit more miserable.

summer is here in south texas.

we were in the upper 80s and low 90s for a while but now its about to be rainy season, which sucks. i had a truck come dump 12 yards of dirt so i could even the yard out but i need two more truck loads. with the rain getting here, i won't be able to spread it till after may. i am delaying the dirt till more than a week of no rain in the forecast because it sucks throwing wet dirt around the yard

83/63 here in FL

Almost 90 yesterday.

31 and snowing right now.

:annoyed:

I started my truck so it could warm up she I got my wife's Bronco out if the barn this moening.

I jumps in to go to work, the A/C was still full cold from yesterday.

Been raining a lot here, temps go back & forth from high 30’s to low 70’s. Grass is greening up, can’t hardly walk across it, no way am I going to be able to mow any time soon. usually Ive mowed at least once by this time of the year. I moved the hhr the other day, hadnt been started or moved in a month. Brakes broke loose, guess the moisture was enough to rust them up good. Took the winter tires off it and parked it in the garage until this wet spell is gone and it stays above 70 consistently.

I believe it's 92 right now here. No wind so it's really humid and hot here on the gulf coast. Luckily the mosquitos haven't shown up yet. That when the party really starts here in south Texas. Life out side is a bummer with 90-100+ temps, No wind, and mosquitos that look like dragonflies

In the 60s when I left for work this morning.

Grass needed cut again, cut it Sunday too. Used my new Honda riding mower, runs like crap. Could not run with pto on without choke. pulled the plug to look at it, looked physically ok but real rich.

It got down to 30 degrees here a few days ago. That was a surprise. My tomato plants starts were killed. Temperatures in the 50s and lows in the 40s and rain over the next several days. It much more like February than April here.
