TK4 won't go into gear after TO bearing replacement

Got replacement master cyl from store with minimal fuss. Still not engaging clutch fully, will try bleeding more this afternoon. Pedal feel is good, should be working by this evening.

For closure : took truck to a shop, no air in the cylinders. Bleed was done correctly. New style master cylinders have a pushrod that is too short. The shop lengthened the rod and it shifted right into gear.

On the way home from the shop, temperature gauge shot up to 280; all the coolant had leaked out while I had been working on it over the weeks. Not good, I know. Stopped and filled it up and no more hi temp gauge. Get it to the house, and the starter breaks. Looks like the bolts were loose and the last start on those loose bolts killed it. Grabbing a replacement from the parts store this afternoon. After truck is running its going up for sale.

Little bit of information in case anyone has a similar problem after replacing master cyl in the early Ranger truck: the new manufacturing run of master cylinders features a pushrod that is too short to engage the clutch. Poured some steel BBs into the master cyl hole and the truck is shifting into gear. Taking mine to a welder buddy to extend the rod a bit.
