Check the axle code on the data plate inside the drivers door. Check that code with the info on the tech page. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Axles.html
If you have 3.73s or 4.10s it will run great. If you have a higher ratio like 3.45s you will use more clutch gettin goin.
Your 4.0 will help, but lower gears give that power more leverage.
Mine had 225/70-15s and 3.45 gears. I changed to 3.73s and 235/75-15 treadwrights and it's just fine. There's not much difference in 235/75-15s and 30/9.50-15s.
