I have a '92 Ranger dropped 5/5. My front tires rubs the shock bolt on the bottom. Any one else have/had this issue? Stock 14" wheels...going to a 17" x 9" so i would like to fix before i destroy them. how do I fix it? Does anyone make steering stops to stop my wheels from turning too far to avoid the bolt chewing the sidewalls up?

I'm not understanding... I asked if I need wheel spacers on another Ranger forum. 1 guy says 5/16", another guy says 7/16", another says 1", another says 1"+, and another says no spacers needed. The whole point of being on these forums is for help from people that have experience and can help out. So far I haven't been helped on this issue whether or not the 17 x 9" 2001 Cobra rims will fit my '92 that is lowered 5/5 and what exact size spacer. I will use the link you posted (and I appreciate that) to do some measurements (even though I don't understand what they will mean in terms of needing a backspacer or not)

I have that problem, cheapest way is t avoid full lock and sharp turns going over bumps :icon_thumby:
