I'm wanting to replace my tires on my '86.(God I love this truck!)It has aftermarket 14 inch rims on it.I am currently running 225-70-14's...I am wanting to replace them with 205-75-14's...I have no lift kits or anything of the sort...Totally stock. My questions are...Will these tires fit O.K without rubbing anywhere?...Also,I'm thinking of purchasing winter tires to run year round..Nice tires, good price, aggressive tread.Besides the fact that they may be noisy,is this a good option?...I drive highway and gravel road about 50/50...I'd prefer to have a tough tire than a pansy all-season.Is it O.K to run non-studded winter tires year round for my preference?...To all who reply, thanks for your patience and "Ranger Wisdom"...:icon_thumby:

Those tires will fit with out any problem.

You can run nonstudded winter tires year round if you want but they will wear faster as the softer tire compound will be more affected in the summer heat.

You may find that your selection of tires will be quite limited because of your 14" wheel size. Something that may be worth considering is picking up a set of 15" steel wheels from the junkyard or something to put your winter tires on perhaps.

Ditto on the 15"...and run mud&snow tires that give you the best of both worlds...and unless you have th coin and a space to store extra tires I'd avoid specialty tires one way or the other...your driving habits don't warrant anything more than a good set of M&S tires since they can handle most road conditions perfectly well...

The only size that may give you some rubbing would be 235s on 15" rims...I tried them on my truck and they only rubbed when I hit bumps...but my suspension was kinda lacking on the old truck so that was expected...
