I just picked up a set of remington mud brute tires. 31X10.5x15. For my 87 ranger. 4" suspension and 2 " body lift. Running stock dana 28. Anyhow anyone ever used these tires ?
Also I need a set of rimes now. Anyone have any idea how wide of a rim I should use? And what the offset should be? Ect ?
Anything to pay attention to ?
I like the aluminum rims with the small holes in them. I hear they are cheap also. I think I saw a pic on jim oaks truck.

With those tires you should use at least an 8" wide wheel and have 3.5" to 4" backspacing. Those Remington tires have to be a few years old because they haven't been made for a while, but were good tires. I sold enough of them.

Awesome. You sold them huh?
What do you think the widest rim would ve I should use?

Widest that you should use is probably 9", but 8" is the perfect width for that tire size. I can't tell you the manufacturers specs for that tire, but generally all 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires recommend wheels 7" to 9" wide.

You can physically mount them to a 10" tire, but at that point the bead is waiting to pop so be careful off road.

Thats what I have heard so far.
Any idea of a place online to get a good price on rims?

Summitracing.com That's where I ordered mine from. I've been told that your rim should be at about 2-3" smaller in width than the tire.

15x8 3.75" backspacing
