Tires and lift

Does anyone know the biggest tire size (diameter and width) you can run on a B2 with the D28/7.5 axles and no lift? What about the same axles with a 3" susp lift?

be ready to get reamed cuz this question is asked about 20 times a day. use the search next time. with that said 31's are said to fit stock on some b2's and others require a little trimming.

i think 33's is about the highest you should go with a D28/7.5". i'm sure people have run bigger without problems and i'm sure people have broken them with smaller tires, just depends on your luck.

yeah, if you are keeping stock axles, I wouldn't go over 33, I'd probably be sticking with 31s.

I think how well they fit is probably closely related to the health of the springs, if that helps you decide. I'd get some 31s. I think 32's are max for a 3" suspension lift.

the springs and the back spacing of the wheels. i have 31's on my 89, the front with no lift clears fine for driving down the road but doesnt have much room to flex. the rears rubed like crazy so i threw some lift blocks in and havent had any trouble.
