Hi All,
I have a few questions regarding tires for my 2002 Mazda B4000, 4x4. I'm still running with the stock P245/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I've decided to replace them with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos before next Winter. I'm considering upsizing to LT265/75R16C tires. In the past I've always replaced OE tires with the same size and type of tire. I've tried to educate myself on tires but the information that I've found is a bit confusing.
Can anyone tell me if the larger tires will fit on the OEM rims without causing problems?
What differences should I expect in handling, gas mileage, ride, etc. with the LT rated tires over P rated tires?
Also, would there be much performance difference between the larger LT tires and the same tires in stock size? I've read that they will throw the speedo off by about -2-3 mph.
Thanks in advance for your help.
