ok , i have a 89 ranger with a 4" suspension lift and a 3" body lift , whats the biggest tires i can run without troubles ? the truck currently has 33x12.50x15's .

Are you geared for those 33's? If you want to go taller you will have to re-gear again. You might start breaking stuff if go to 35's if you like to wheel hard. I would leave it at 33's if it were my beater.
 
Trim the fenders you can fit 35s. Before you buy borrow aa set of 35s and drive around. See if you can even do 70. And if 4 low is low enough for you.
