ok well i have a 1990 ranger stx i have a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch suspension that i will be putting in soon and i wanted to know what size tire and what is a good mud tire to buy:

33's might be the biggest you could go with that amount of lift(not quite sure,i'm not too familiar with those bdy styles, wrecked my 89 before i could put my 4" lift on it) right now you can run 31's right?

not sure if this helps but 91 ext cab 4x4 has a 3"body lift and im running 31/10.5/15s with 2 more inches you should be able to fit a 33 i would think. not any bigger, with out trimming or rubbing.

yes. you can run 33's.

as for what tire to go with...will you be using it as a daily driver? will you be driving mostly on freeway or city streets? do you care about how quiet it rides or how smooth it rides? do you want mud tires that will last long or wear out quickly?

if you want a good mud tire that will last long and be quiet and smooth on the road, go with bfg mud terrains.

if you want serious off road use and dont care about shitty on road quality, go with supper swampers, they are the best off road performance for a decent price

Goodyear makes a new tire called the Wrangler Territory, basically a slightly toned down version of the Wrangler M/T. It looks more aggressive than a BF Goodrich All-Terrain and they're priced pretty good for a Goodyear tire of that type. Check it out on the Canadian Tire website.
