Would I be able to fit 31x10.50R15 tires on my stock suspension 98' Ranger XLT 2WD Flareside? I would probably remove the front splash guards and add wheel spacers, but could I get it to fit properly?

Actually, would I be able to fit 30x9.5x15 tires a little easier than the previously mentioned?

"4x4 Ford Ranger / Bronco II Tire Fitment" I have a 2WD and this tire fitment chart specifies for lifted trucks. And I know that a 4x4 truck is naturally going to have a higher stance stock than my truck will.

I fit 32's with stock suspension on my 97 RWD ranger. I had to trim the bumper, and the tires would rub the wheel wells when I hit a bump. Other than that it was great!

But, to answer your question, I'd go w/ the 30's. You might rub slightly tho.

Brinker88,

I'm thinking about sticking with the 30x9.5x15's because I will have a little more wiggle room. What do you think I should fab/adjust on the truck to make these fit without any worries at all? And would you suggest wheel spacers as well?

Thanks.

Sorry man, i thought at one time it had 2wd in it...???
I looked at one a lonnnnng time ago that was 2wd, i was sure it was that'n.
Sorry.

Not a problem man, it's not the first time someone replied to my post with that answer. Haha. Thanks for helping me out though, I appreciate it.

Thanks.

Well hell..... I cant find where i saw a 2wd chart!!!
1/2 of my bookmarks are dead links or there are no more pictures. Guess its time to clean out my favorite folder.

EDIT: Found you one. only goes up to 1996.

Would the 2wd chart be different than the 4wd chart? Best way is to take it to a shop and test 1 tire to see if it fits.

eh, don't feel bad. I think I emailed about some broken links a while back and they still haven't been fixed. There's a few articles that we should link to in our Library. *shrug* I dunno.
