I have on some generic goodyear tires. They are 245/75/16s. I was wondering if a smaller tire or a larger tire would be best? I like the idea of large BFG all terrain tires. Is there a most comfortable tire or tire size for on road and offraod terrain?

For on road a smaller tire, for off road a larger tire but with a larger tire you're not upgrading the brakes and it will take longer to stop, that and you'll need to replace the VSS and possibly regear the truck depending on how much larger you go. Personally, I wouldn't mess with the tire size unless I was also doing some serious changes elsewhere, otherwise buy some nice all terrain tires in the stock size. If you're looking to improve your ride quality you're looking at the wrong place, invest in better suspension components particularly better shocks, but remember it's a truck if you want a passenger vehicle ride quality get a passenger vehicle.
