Tips for getting bolts loose?

and it's worth every last cent I paid for it and then some.

need to hide that thing in brush? LOL Wish I had a tank with enough volume to run one of those. Most people just having to fix something here and there can only make best with hand tools. The impact is only going to work as good as what's driving it.

Heat!

I've gotten to be rather impatient at times though. There has been a few times that I resorted to heat lately to get something apart and "accidently" turned it into slag on the ground... maybe if I had a place indoors to work on this stuff and a proper air compressor I might not be quite so impatient, lol.

What everyone is not telling you is your are heating the frame around hte bolt, not the bolt itself.. You want the frame ot expand not the bolt. A can of air from walmart turned upside down will give off an instant freeze that should help, but this time of the year colt bolts shouldnt be an issue. Just remember to heat the frame not the bolt.

Thank you for the tips!

one guy on here said he used a combo of acetone and ATF that worked really nicely.

I can vouch for the combo of acetone and ATF... be careful it will melt through almost any plastic container you put it in. I ended up going to a cosmetology store and buying a chemical resistant bottle for hair color to store it in...everything else turned into a melted pile of pink goo and made my garage smell like trans fluid for two weeks.

As with any penetrating oil, the more time you let it sit, the better it will work.
