Tips for changing clutch

easiest way is to put it on your chest without the t-case attached, u want it in ur arms because turning it to clear the body seam is cruicial for a 5 minute instalation, once u have it sittin on the dowles brace it with one knee (leg on the underside of truck for leverage) throw couple bolts in the sides, go about ur business of bolting it the rest of the way back together....

i never remove the y pipe, ever lol....why make a leak i dont have to lol

might help im 6'2 235 though lol

Parts

I would very highly suggest the rear main seal in the motor and the front main in transmission IF the manual has one, I have drove automatics for so long I dont remember. ANYWAY All I got to say is BETTER YOU THAN ME,,,, I did enough of those swaps 3 yrs ago,,,

Good Luck,, Oh and the biggest thing you will need the most of, and if your not careful you can lose it all in spur of the moment.. You need A WHOLE LOTTA PAITENCE.

What is involved in changing the rear main? Does the oil pan need to come off for that or no?
