Iraq gave me this and no hearing in my right ear.
I'm positive ear plugs wouldn't have helped.

Wow, I had no idea Tinnitus was a real thing. I read about it in a fantasy book once, and just thought it was something the author had made up.

I'm sorry that some people have it. I think I know what you mean...is it that whining you most people get after concerts, only its all the time? I'm not sure I could deal with that!

For some people it's a constant thing, for others it's a sometimes thing. Either way it's no fun.

Mine got a little tiny bit better when I quit smoking. Every time my blood pressure goes up the ringing gets worse. Let's me know when I get stressed.

mine is from a firecracker exploding on my shoulder. damaged my ear drum and took the shirt and skin off of my shoulder. Brother threw it on the roof and they where landing in the gutter and making a hell of a bang, one missed as I was walking out the door and hit me and exploded
