91 ranger that quit on me today, think it might have broke the belt, due to it back firing out the exhaust. is the 2.3l an interference motor.
 
great that is what i thought, the 6 inch flame that came out of the tail pipe at the time it back fired and stoped running was kind of neat.
 
Get it fixed and put flame a flame thrower system on it.
