Hi, I'm Gacknar and even though I have never posted until today I have been a registered user here at TRS since 2007.

Back in 2001 I bought a 1989 Ranger STX Highrider with a 4" lift.
In 2009 the second FM-146 ate it's input bearing, pilot bearing, and shattered the clutch disk. I parked it and it sat for 3 yrs.

Thanks to this site and it's tech library, I did a M5OD swap and drove the truck yesterday for the first time since I parked it in 2009.

But I have a few questions that I am not finding using the advanced search function, so I thought I would introduce myself before asking a bunch of dumb noob questions. :D

A few pics of the Ranger. (All before it sat for three years)

If you have ever owned a Mustang, Lightning, or a Fullsize Bronco you may have also seen me a NLOC, the Corral or mostly FSB.

And that concludes this Dumb-Noob's intro :icon_twisted:

I forgot, we also have this RBV.

93 Explorer, currently with a bad tranny. It wont make the 1-2 shift without letting off the gas. I think the A4LD's intermediate band has broken.
