My Ranger has just turned over to 200,000 miles on it and with allot of driving on a rough driveway. I drive mostly on the road, but its getting to the point that my truck is bouncing when I rock it and the ride is getting really rough. Is it time to replace the shocks? If so what kind would be recommended for mostly street driving on semi-rough roads and a little off roading.
Thanks for any pointers,

definately time for new shocks. as to what kind, i go with what the auto parts stores have for a reasonable price. not the cheapest but not crazy expensive. this would also be a good time to inspect all the tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings.
