Thrown Rod on the road. Stuck in Abilene TX

On a trip back east and my motor threw a rod out the side. currently in Abilene TX and hoping to find someone to lend a hand. Not sure of full extent of damage as i am stuck in a parking lot. Hoping to find a garage to park a dig into motor a bit. want to find out if i can replace piston or if i should sell/junk car. Would ship home but too expensive. Abilene is a really friendly place. The local Junk Yard prolly will install another engine in there for ya tomorrow. No hope at all repairing an engine that sent a rod out the side..
But all you need is a long block you have the rest.

Yeah, there is no fixing a thrown rod as it kind of tends to leave a huge hole in the side of the engine.

Parked the car at the storage place for the time being and flying to my destination. This give me a couple weeks to work something out.

Thanks Jim! Will start trying to source a motor on Monday. Everyone seemed to be closed this weekend.
