Hello! On my 1998 2.5L, my throttle seems to stick when I first push it down. Then when I let it up, it sticks again until I push it. It only sticks when it is up and then I push it. Is there any ideas I could try. I looked at the cable and the hookup by the throttle body and felt it stick when I moved it there too. Thanks Alot!

I would disconnest the cable from the TB. Then you can tell if it is the cable or the TB sticking. If its the cable, you may need a new one if you can't find what is binding it up. The TB could just be gunked up inside. The BII I had was sticking and I ended up pulling it all aprt and polishing the shaft for the butterfly. I never had a problem with that again.

Got any Liquid Wrench? Spray it behind the pedal and carefully on the TB. If that doesn't help pop the connectors off the TB and find exactly where it is, one of the connectors just may need to be cleaned. Might as well check for stuff of the spring behind the pedal anyway.
