throttle position sensor

Anyone know if the tps is interchangeable between a 2.9 and a 3.0? or a 3.0 and a 4.0?
Have a 97 3.0 giving troubles and have everything but 3.0 for spares. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, is there a proper procedure for setting the tps? Thanks.

answered my own question. FWIW they are not interchangeable. 95-98 only, and ONLY 3.0. Figures. I have two 2.9s and a 4.0!
