Throttle Hesitation

I have a 95 2.3 and when i mash the skinny peddle the truck hesitates then 2 seconds later gets going?? Im not to sure where to start my inspection any advise is greatly appreciated! thanks

sounds like a clogged fuel filter, mine did that when i bought the truck. i changed the fuel filter, plugs/wires, air filter and engine oil and she ran a lot better. if it persists i had some corrosion in my edis unit (the ignition box attached to the intake manifold with two plugs on it) and it made it run like it had a misfire for a while, cleaned and runs great now. just took a qtip and some contact cleaner to the contacts inside the plugs to get the green stuff off.

Any codes? I'd have to agree about the filter too. Check the Fuel Pressure Regulator too.

I changed the filter within the past year and a half though. So i hope thats not the problem. I'll have to check those connections and see if it helps any.
