I was wanting to use a lokar throttle cable, how long does it need to be for a v8 swap in a ranger

Try measuring your stock one.

I used Lokar's 24" on my build. They are cut to fit.
It all depends, are you running carb, EFI what side is the TB on, useing an elbow or straight off the plennum? In manny cases the stock length will work.
