Good evening,

We just got a 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0, 4x4, 5spd manual. I was thinking I had a vacuum leak but upon inspection I found the throttle cable was frayed just inside the shielding and hanging. Tapping pedal sometimes frees it. Anyhow, I'm having the worst time trying to locate a new OEM cable. Found a bunch of the China types but they are all universal.

Does anyone have a link to where to get one? Or are there compatible parts from like 2000+ years?

I'm fine with aftermarket, as long as it's a direct fit. Or is everyone running the universal types?

Thanks
