well i searched around for a while and couldnt find anything so here goes:
im using the explorer intake and throttle body and mustang egr spacer and dont know how to get the throttle cable hooked up since it will have to pull towards the drivers side to work. if anyone has this setup let me know how you made it work.

and i know that the egr plate has a smaller bore. im going to bore it out to match

using the explorer bracket only works w/ the 90 degree elbow that goes w/ it cuz that bracket pulls to the front

Can you take a couple of pics? I'm sure this can be made to work, but I need to see it to be able to help.

well heres the pictures, i apologize for the lack of quality but i left my camera at my parents house thats a 10hr drive away so i had to use my phone.

also the throttle body can mount in any direction of rotation i just turned it that way so you can see it in the picture better.

if this is gonna be a huge pain in the ass to do, would it make any difference in performance whether i use the mustang egr spacer or the explorer elbow, since i have the throttle bracket for the explorer. i just like that the mustang egr spacer take up less room, since im going for a minimalist look.

flip throttle body and run a mustang/crownvic bracket

from what ive seen the mustang bracket pulls towards the firewall. i need to pull to the passenger side no matter which way i turn the throttle body.

i have the mustang throttle body but i want to use the larger one from the explorer. and how much trouble would it be to swap the lever over?

Many guys swap the plate part whrre the little nub is from one TB to the other. like this. (The nub that the cable snaps onto.)

Or swap the entire throttle blade shaft, modding the old shaft so the newer larger thottle blade fits on it. (do a search at www.corral.net for more inf if you need it.)

TPS is slightly different, too. You can enlage the hole in your stocker, and mod the TB to fit, or use the EX one.

that site was very helpful. i have an idea of what i gotta do now. and i must be lucky since my mustang TPS attaches to the explorer throttle body w/ no issues and i have the breather line that the one in the article doesnt.
thanks for everyones input:icon_thumby:

just went out to the garage and got both brackets off and i noticed the ball on the mustang bracket was broke off, so i took the ball off the explorer bracket too. basically just grind the flared parts down, put the throttle body in the vise and hammer the bracket off from the back side. tomorrow i gotta dig the welder out so i can put everything back together and ill put up a picture of the final product
