strange how some threads get responses and some don't. !!
Here on a "Ranger" site I see a lot of interest and responses in old brick buildings / photography. I thought I was on the "this old house" site .
And then of all things I find 2 pages discussing "fish bites" , no one knows what they are but it sure got a lot of interest.
Is the interest in building rangers waning ????:nopityA::nopityA::wrongforum:

I think alot of posts dont get responses when they are "help" questions that lack enough relevant details for anyone to even take a wild guess what the problem is. Or they get posted during the day when everyone is at work and just sort of get lost.

I think if a thread doesn't get a response, it's because nobody has a suitable answer for it.

Why does everything have to always be about Rangers? People have other interests as well. This is a community, and people like to share there ideas and interests with their friends here.

Agreed
This is a Ranger Forum, because we like or own Rangers, but we also like other things. Sometimeswe have opinions and questions about other things. And since there are people from different walks of life on here, maybe they share interests or have knowledge that others can use.

Ive found most threads with zero responses have "rusty ol ranger" written in the top left corner :icon_confused:

:D

I respond to technical questions when I can. A lot of them these days share a couple flaws that keep me from responding.

1) The question is too vague, either lacking relevant information about the vehicle in question, or conditional info that is important to giving a good answer.

2) They are about years or systems I am unfamiliar with, for example I have a lot of experience with stock TTB systems, but almost none in regards to lifting anything or working on SLA Rangers. I know the generals of the 98+ front ends, but don't know them well enough to say "look here".

3) The OP posted three identical threads in under two minutes and I am ignoring two of them. If everyone did that 2/3 of all new threads would never get replied to.

And these are all problems I have noticed getting worse over the last year.

When you see that let the staff know so we can thin them out.

If you note both of your examples are technically truck related. Jim was daydreaming about a shop/house for his truck and the fishbite thing was in reference to truck diagnosis. (and not catfish bites... which are awesome :icon_thumby:)

Heck, it is too cold outside to do anything with my truck (as it has been for several weeks now) so I am in the basement trying to get a 3 wheeler put together to go with my truck at car shows. Not really "Ranger related"... but it kinda-sorta is. :icon_twisted:

Oh. We have opinions, for sure! Lots of opinions and sometimes a bit of information.

This message composed solely of recycled electrons. Go green!

First, I came up the answer to the fish bites question in a GM TSB and posted a link.

Second: Have you seen this one?

I got all excited thinking that I was going to have time to tear the front clip off my BII this weekend, and then I spent Friday taking my son's bed that he no longer likes apart and hauling it out to the garage piece by piece because we found him a new one, and it is now taking up my work space.

and it is now taking up my work space.

Time for a new Craigslist ad.
