Thoughts on lift

I'm planning on lifting my truck this summer. At this point I plan on a 2" body lift, front leveling coils, new shocks, urethane bushings, gears, and either a locker or True-Trac. The truck will see about 50% highway use and 50% rutted, muddy dirt roads. Will I need any drop brackets or additional items if I go with this lift? Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

If you go with just a leveling kit, you shouldn't need any drop brackets, but some adjustable caster/camber bushing would definitely be a good idea. Hell, they are anyway.

as for a locker, i definitely recommend the powertrax no-slip, i have one in my truck and its very quiet. no ratcheting noises like the lock-right, and since the teeth dont contact during ratcheting, longer life of the locker.

if you're going to be bringing a 2wd into some rutted up muddy situations, i would definitely want some 50/50 traction in the rear! i dont know where you're located, but it will make your 2wd a beast in the snow too.
