My girlfriend bought me 4 100w offroad lights for my 96 ranger and i want to mount them some where on the truck.. I would peffer them not mounted on the bumper so if i hit something it won't smash the lights in the process.. I got a roll bar for the bed of the truck but i have a truck box and if i mount the roll bar it will not let me open the box so i figure i would just reconfig the roll bar to fix the truck box problem but if i reconfig the roll bar it will not allow me to get into the truck box unless i jump into the bed and which i am lazy... I am planning on building a bigger truck box so i have more room which will not fit with the roll bar ..

So i am lost on what to do on mounting these light becase i have been trying to come up with something and found nothing and i really don't have time to fab something up because i am trying to get my cdl ...So if you have any ideas please let me know!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks ahead of time
Jay

They make a light bar that mounts to the rain rails on each side of your cab.
Several companys make them,do a goggle search or check JC whitney.

How about looking for a roof mounted rack? or a cheaper way would be to get a rack like a ski or bike rack that would mount to the drip rail or the door opening so no drilling. you can use just one rail of the rack. and you can tke it off when you get the next truck.let me know what you think

i remember seeing those not long ago for only $10-15... thats gonna be the quickest easiest way to go.

they make racks that hold to the roof with a pinch type clamp. gose from door opening to dooropening. on drilling
