Thoughts and prayers needed guys.

I've got a good friend of mine who came down with Bacterial Meningitis which became further complicated with a brain Encephalitis. Long story short he has been in a coma and hooked up to a ventilator at OHSU in Portland for the last three weeks. We are hoping he makes its through and has no deafness or blindness or epilepsy complicating his recovery. It remains to be seen if he even survives.

I do not know if this part is kosher on TRS or not, but a foundation is being set up at a local bank in La Grande, OR (his hometown) to help keep his family (wife, 11 yr old son, 8 year old daughter) from losing their home, etc...

If any of you are in a position to help and wish to do so, I would be more than happy to send you the bank's contact information. Just send me a PM.

Thanks guys. Got an update today and he is starting to respond to the doctors. Good news! It is looking like the death possibility is going away.

He is young and strong, so hopefully his body recovers quickly.
