Yeah, I bet his overload springs were bent after that...

I bent the muffler clamp holding my leaf springs together on my 97 step side 2wd the other day hauling tractor tires........ had to retorque them, it was annoying.

as long as it's strapped down securely a cop has nothing to ticket him for.

exceeding the maximum load rating of your truck isn't illegal, at least not in a capacity that a traffic cop can ticket you for it.

Ooohhh yes they can, and they will. Especially for this clown. Laws for towing/hauling are very vague and they can make your life very miserable along the side of the road if they want.

And if they don't and somebody pulls out in front of you, you smash into them... no matter what they did it is your fault. If your truck wasn't overloaded beyond the capacity of your brakes you might have been able to avoid the accident. Lawsuit city.

agreed, it looks just like the dash in my dads 03 F-250

The only newer superdutys i've been in was a towtruck and I wasn't payin attention to the dash I was to busey watchin my ride being pulled, lookin out the rear window or the mirrors. Now if the arm wasn't in the way the side window drop for the mirrors would have been a dead giveaway.
