well a camswap and carb swap turned into a complete rebuild(isnt that how it always goes?) well anyway heres the deal as much of an all motor guy i am my 302 swap didnt go to well, couldnt find a trans for good price or at all. so i was gonna turbo a 2.8 but i dont feel like buying everything to put that motor back together the 2.8L in my ranger now has AT LEAST 120,000 miles.(maybe 2 or hell even 3) my question is would that high of a mileage engine hold up to a turbo and new cam for at least a year? roughly 40,000 more miles) and what would most likely be the cause of it failing(intercooling it so detonation is prevented some) i know the main bearings and rod bearing would be a good canidate but anything else?
