on my 94 ranger i am getting my trailer lights trying to work for my boat trailer, now i have done the following .... replaced all light assembly's on the trailer with LED lights, replaced all the wiring for the trailer, replaced the connector from my truck going to the trailer connector, i sprayed the plug and play connectors with contact spray, and i replaced and checks all grounds,,,,,,,,,,, and this is my problem....... every single light works on the truck and trailer, except the driver side trailer brake light and turn signal. o and i checked all fuses, my question is can the plug and play module go bad causing this, cause everything else is brand new and tested????????????????????????????????????????

Yup it can, did you try switching wires around in the plug and make sure everything on that side works? Could be a broken wire or bad light there too....

yes i did switch the wires and and the lights do fucntion,,,if a trailer ground is bad the lights wouldnt work at all right

double check your wiring, especialy the grounds. had a similar problem on my trailer, turned out to be a bad ground.

A bad ground can cause all sorts of weird problems.

was a trailer mech for 5 years yes the mod in the ford are not that good but check it with a test light about 3" from the plug or hook you truck up to a trailer you know works
