thinkin bout getting these rims... will they fit?

hmmm... so how much heavier can they be? well if my truck cant spin them then i guess ima start searchin for some egal alloy or american racing rims (the 8 hole alloy ones).

Or save yourself the money and just get the Eagle Alloys or AR wheels. Why bother getting the beadlocks? You are just wasting time and money.

yeah i know... isnt that the point of having a truck? lol. im prolly gonna go with the alcoa rims then. what should i get, 15x8 with 4 inch backspace or 15x7 with 3.5 inch (or 3 inch) backspacing

Most ranger wheels are 4.5 if I am thinking right. If you want a more aggressive look (wider stance), go 3.5in or 3in. That will wear out the bearings faster though. The 4in will be closer to stock.

I have a set of 15X8 Cragar "Soft 8's" on my lowered truck with a 4.25 backspace IIRC, and the fronts are about flush, maybe like a fraction of an inch past the fender.

Mine are 15x8, 4" bs. If you want beadlocks for the look, get wheels that look like they have beadlocks. I would suggest mickey thompson classic 2's if you want alloy 8 holes. They come polished or cool powdercoated black.

Oh, BTW, the Cragars are like $45 a piece on Summit/Jegs/Etc.

i do like the soft 8's but idk bout steel rims... the most i wanna spend on rims is 120 a peice (and thats kinda pushing it). i think 15x8 with 3.75" backspace or 15x7 with 3.5" backspace. im gonna be runnin the same tire size (31's)... how heavy are the cragers compared to my stock mazda 5 spoke alloy rims or the alcoas? and i dont really wanna do steal rims unless their beadlocks but, i cant decide now.

from what ive found out the rims im lookin at are jus steel rims with a beadlock kit already on them. so it would be the same as cragars but maybe 2lbs heavier. but im still reconsidering cause i heard that beadlocks have a tendancy to leak.

I believe it's 60 degrees. At the worst, it would require you to get new lug nuts as well.

EDIT: I looked at couple parts stores' websites, they all list 60 degrees conical seat as the stock replacement for a Ranger.

ok. thanks.

If you want the Black Rocks that have the standard 8 holes, take a look at Jegs. They have their in house brand that costs about $45 each.
