thinkin body lift

i think im guna bite the bullet and get a body lift, seeing as i wont be able to afford a suspension lift...for awhile, has anyone installed a body lift themselves on a newer ranger? how hard is it?

Yeah, I faced the same dilemma. College doesn't really allow me to make enough money for a suspension lift . Anyways, I've got an 03 edge 4x4 and it took me a 3 day weekend to install a PA bodylift. I'm not sure how different an 07 is but not too bad. Considering I did the majority of it by myself

pretty easy to do. I did mine by myself with hand tools in my apartment parking lot one weekend. Just soak everything in pb blaster a day or two before

yea like every pretty major change you need patience and alot of penetrating oil

yup im thinking the shop is going to take this one haha, i read the instructions and it looks fairly easy but a lot of messing around, a local national 4wd shop is having an open house and there having discount on labour time so looks like i might get lucky
