No its not safe. I watched the local (denver)news last night. Some local jeeper had his rig stolen.(I think from where he works. looked like a business camera footage) Get this they got it all on tape. Morons roll up in a dodge ram back up to his trailer hook it up. Then pull over to where his jeep is parked...got the back wheels on try to pull it out into the open....trailer falls off, jeep falls off trailer. They hook everything back up, finally get the jeep on the trailer and disappear with his rig! They interviewed him and he said he has been working on this thing for about two years had about $20grand invested and had just "finished". They didnt catch these guys as of yet but my guess is his pride and joy are already in about 1000 pieces. I sure hope he finds it though and these guys are locked up.:temper:That really pisses me off! All that hard work and money. unf*ckinbelievable

Thats sad. Like you sad its in about 1000 pieces by now. People these days.

Not sure I'd just leave it up to the cops on this one.

I'd be doing a little searching myself.

+1. it seems like if ur rig is lifted and such its a target. ive noticed that and on CO4x4.org. alot of peoples rigs are beaing stolen. i guess the theives have noticed the price of stuff used to build 4x4 rigs.:dunno:

We had someone break into our chainlink with barbwire lot at work, hotwire a POS 1993 F-350 and then use it to steal a camping trailer!

They found the truck a week later, it broke down (see POS above) but the trailer is still MIA, never to be seen again!

My b2 being more "low key" than yotas and jeeps gives me more peace of mind, that and being a manual I think would make theives shy away more than if it was an automatic. I would still like to install an extra cutoff switch somwhere.

There's a reason my "year old" truck looks like a complete POS 22year old truck.

It saves me from having to shoot someone.

Not that shooting someone would bother me, but the paperwork
AFTER shooting someone REALLY PISSES ME OFF, then I have to
shoot someone else and it all escalates out of control...

And I have to restock my ammo supply...

ammo is expensive these days.

THAT pisses me off too... Let's drop this before I start shooting again.

I'm in the market for a house at the moment, and that's one of my main concerns. Nice house in a shitty neighborhood = shooting people off your back porch. Ammunition is expensive, and paperwork is a PITA like you said. I'm aiming for the shitty house in a nice neighborhood approach.

I'm in a nice neighborhood...... three doors down (literally) from a rifle range.

Nobody who lives here would even notice gunfire.
Though any full auto "Rock & Roll" would get attention
nothing else short of actual artillery would.

one shot one kill!

"Nice" from a prepared position, but not always practical or possible.

against infiltration technques (used by THIEVES) "spray and pray"
by a skilled practitioner is likely to be more effective in the expected CQB engagement.

Personally I'd like to use land mines, but I'm sure that someone would object.
