As pretty much anyone else looking for so more height. I was looking at getting a performance accessories 3" bl. If i were to add this on my truck is there anything else that would be a pretty good idea to do as well? If i had the money id go suspension lift but i figure this will do what i want as well, its a 4WD auto and has 31 equivalents on already. any info would be appreciated :icon_thumby:

About your only other option is a Tbar crank to level out the truck

T bar crank for the front, AAL or beltech shackles or both for the rear and better shocks, thats about all you can do besides a BL.

strvger and legoms both said the best ideas you could do. it will net you about 5" and you could easily stuff 33's under there with room to spare

I dunno about 5".....that would require a Superlift kit ($$$$) but yes 33's will fit nicely, and look great under there with that setup I mention.

Sticky at the top of the 4x4 suspension forum says it all: Late model rangers are cheap to lift a lil, and very expensive to lift alot.

i think he meant 3" for the body lift 2" for the tt/shackle

my buddy did the same on his 98 back in the day with some 33" tsl radials. did a tt just about an inch and a half to level it out. thing was a beast offroad, and looked dam good

yeah. i meant combined. it will probably be a little under 5" but either way will fit 33's nicely

I'll definitely keep that all in mind and go from there. I was talking to one of my buddies and said that'll i'll have to extend the brake lines is this true?

No you shouldn't need to.

This is my ranger with a 3" PA lift and about an inch or so cranked on t-bars, no rub at all.

The kit will come with bumper relocation brackets or you can make your own if you make your own bl like i did.

As far as the brake lines go you do not need to extend them with a body lift

i have a 03 4x4 and was wanting to do a BL do i have to keep the bumper off or can i still use?

Yeah if the B/L kit doesn't come with relocation drop brackets, then you'll have to make some of your own. Usually isn't to hard.

Okay sweet, i was hoping i didn't have to do any extensions sounds pretty straight forward then. The lift makes it look more like a truck. Just the 31s beef it up some but with a bit of a lift makes them look a hell of a lot better.
