I replaced the thermostat thermal sensors because the seals were leaking coolant. Now it will not start. Is it possible that a defective thermal sensor would cause a 'no start'? After repeated attempts to start, it did fire up about three times and would run normally for 10 to 30 seconds and then would just shut down. When it doesn't fire up the exhaust smells like gas so it seems to be getting fuel.
