Hey everyone, new here, and first time replacing the thermostat I got a 98 B2500. I got the new thermostat and it comes with the rubber seal on top. When I took the housing off the old thermostat didnt have the seal but the housing had a rubber O-ring. So because I have a thermostat with the seal do i need the O-ring? Autozone and some guy their both assured me I didnt, just wanted to make 100% sure. Thanks in advance!
