Glad to see it saved from the junkyard

Yup , exactly how I would do it.

it drives fine and is water tight so its good to go. if my son wants its pretty, he is going to have to pay for it. when i gave it to him, it was beautiful

Tell him to get a stud welder kit and a set of body hammers, on already dented metal it's hard to go backwards if it already needs replaced...

Not to threadjack but just as some incentive here's a before, during and after of what I did on my Ranger after it rolled...

The last one is kinda just for fun but apparently one of the few side shots I have from closer to the incident... it landed on the drivers side and roof mostly... All of that mess was going a whole mile away from where I was so I made things work...

the ranger did really well in a roll over.

The gen 1 chassis and cabs are brutes. The transmissions and axles suck though.

My main ranger has been on its roof twice.....only used a jack and a hammer so a back window kinda fit.... Kept going.

The bronco is beat even worse ....

Tough Lil buggers.

That's awesome. I know we had an 80s ranger back when I was in high school, around 93, and it was great. It lasted through jumping and pulling anything we could tie to it, and than more jumping. It was a solid little truck
