Ok, due to a few people being interested in these cards, I will start a general thread to help answer questions and such.
The business card template I made is in MS Publisher format. I can also save to a PDF file in which you can use general Business Card paper or even send it to a print shop and they can print them as well. Best bet is the Publisher document though as some of the fonts can change in the conversion process.
If anyone is interested in the template or interested in purchasing some of these cards already printed, please let me know. I'm trying to get everything setup so I can send out my document to the print shop this week. Currently there aren't any sales going on but I figured for $30 for 250 cards its a pretty descent start. A pack of business cards for 200 cards is about $18.00, plus ink, and my time to do them, so paying someone to do 250 cards, their time, their ink, and me not getting frustrated when my printer decides it don't want to print inside the lines...Priceless LOL.
Let me know what you guys would like, if you want me to email you the Publisher file, or a PDF, or mail you some cards for a reasonable price. I'm up for anyone with some pricing ideas, and such. I don't want to make money off these but I can't afford to give them away either LOL. However if you want the publisher file or the PDF you are more than welcome to PM me with an email address and I can send you whichever version you prefer for free. The Publisher file is completely unlocked so you can edit and change it to suit your personal needs, the PDF file is well just that you can't really edit them.
Thanks everyone, and any comments, suggestions, help, etc. is greatly appreciated. I know that handing these cards to people around town who have RBV's might boost the number of forum members we have, and for a relatively little to no cost. Word of mouth always works, but sometimes you just can't catch the owner of the vehicle so leaving a card on their door or windshield may just give them a heads up that they have been waiting for.
I know I ran across TRS by accident when I got my Bronco 2 and was trying to google some issues I was having and guess what came up as one of the top choices. A thread from TRS. That got me hooked, and within minutes my Bronco 2 was fixed. That one little free thread someone posted about carburetor adjustments on the 2.8L v6 got me hooked and got me signed up on this forum.
To any of the Moderators of the site, if I am overstepping my bounds please feel free to let me know. Thank you. Bill
By the way, I did get permission from Jim Oaks to make and use these cards!
