Also I believe you aren't allowed to use artist names, just the song.

this sort of explains it, but Flight does have the complete word Light in it, just with a 'F' in front of it, and i think we should all go by the OP's rules, that dont seem fair taking someone elses thread and changing they're rules, just my $0.02 though..I honestly dont know .. Lets just start from a new song..

The rules were changed quite a while ago because it was too easy to use it, are, a, the, or the group name...that was agreed upon quite a while ago and it has been going fine...

Perhaps we should do a game where you actually have to sing the words to the song (a la Karaoke) to make it more challenging...some people can use search engines to find songs that they've never even heard of and I guess that's ok if you want to increase your post counts...most of the posts to date have been songs that people actually liked, know, or knew at some point in their lives...

Edit: If we want to get real picky, Flight of the Bumblebee is not actually a song...it's an instrumental...there may be words to it (although I doubt it) but the version by Jose Feliciano was instumental...

Sortof, using the artists name was decided to be too easy...but when someone posts a single word song where no other artist did the same song then the thread dies...it wasn't intended to be that restrictive, but the rules were 'adjusted' to make it more challenging...

New rule, if your going to do this by words (which by the way still hasnt been proven to be a rule, so technically I can post whatever I want as long as there's a word in it) the actual word should be in the song.

Example. Flight DOES NOT EQUAL Light.

Who died and made you the all mighty god of the song thread? And you still haven't shown me where "Your rules" were discussed with the rest of the people posting in this thread. You say there has to be discussion with the other posters agreeing, so show me where it happened.

And you still haven't shown me where "Your rules" were discussed with the rest of the people posting in this thread. You say there has to be discussion with the other posters agreeing, so show me where it happened.

It should be pretty obvious from the history of the posts how the game is being played.

Because I've been playing by the rules as they have progessed...it is you that stumbled into the thread, read the first post, then decided that even though we'd been playing by modified rules that that wasn't good enough for you because you read the original post...
