the slo-vo build thread...

the wheels are growing on me, i wish they stuck out a little further as the lugs are rubbing the RA's when turning hard but i think i can live with it...though i would still rather have steel wheels

dustin you going to interlake sunday?

Haven't heard anything. John asked if I'll be working Sat. I dont know if I will be working Sun yet. And I still don't have power steering.

And my tires rub my arms too.

wheel spacers?? :dunno:

i might throw some 1/4 inchers in there to help keep them out of the arms

I have 1/2" ones on mine and they still rub.

How do they ride ? And I think it looks a lot better . I thought we were going Saturday?

Told ya they'd look good on there

as far as wheel spacer's smokin the wheel bearing's. premature bearing problems have alot to do with wheel scrub as well. With a taller tire it may need to be out a bit further to reduce wheel scrub. too far in or too far out is equally as bad. i understand the leverage that is commonly refered to while using spacer's but it work's both way's.

Digging the rims Jon! Welcome to the aluminum club:thefinger:

still plan on blacking them?

Those wheels are nice. I would be tempted to leave them like that instead of black.

They'll do that. My TSL's were bouncy as all get out, and stiff like you wouldn't believe. BUT aired down they rule.
