well i got them when they were at about 40% so i cant say a whole lot about them but they seem to be a good tire, havent had any sidewall cuts no flats nothing which is doing something for me.

i just have no clue which way i wanna go on tires when i get done with my axle swaps.. either try out some treadwrights or general grabbers! a guy i know has the grabbers and LOVES them..

ive heard the grabbers are nice, probably not cheap though...

got a little more work done on the camper tonight...

the shelving is done except for some trim to make an edge so things wont slide off

the painted area is the only spots that wont be covered in carpet

should get started on the wiring tomarrow, if ive got any money this weekend (isnt looking too good for that) ill be ordering the pintle stuff

id run some electricity to it if you didnt plan on it already, so you can hook up an electric heater for the cold nights or somethin

yup going to start running wire tomarrow, there will be 2 120v outlets and an inside light and an outside light...

for lights when not on 120 ive got a few battery powered led's

if i can find an inverter for a decent price it will have a battery with an inverter hooked up so i can run some power tools and lights and such without a generator

You probably already know this, but


Connect a good ground wire from the trailer frame to a true ground in your shop or where-ever your gonna be wiring the trailer......my uncle forgot to ground his trailer while he wired it and was electrocuted!!!!!!

I'm sure you have something planned but here's what I do on the moto trailer
i have a latch and hasp on the inside of the trailer to keep the door shut. on the outside i just lock the keeper to the hanger if that make's any sense that way no one can lock you in using the factory installed pieces let's face it when ppl wanna lock you in there gonna find a way to lock you in regardless of what you do to prevent it. And it's bound to happen

As for electricity i ran all 12v light's and 12v heater's that are tied into two batterie's, they have a battery charger wired in in the same compartment. there are still two 120 outlets inside the trailer. then if you have the luxury of power hook-up's you can still have some "extra" amenities. but i can run jumper cable's from the truck to the camper to charge the batterie's if they need a little boost.

one of my race buddie's has a very similar setup but he went to the extent of building in a mini fridge and cut a hole in the front for a window air conditioner. as far as im concerned in northern michigan it's not really needed but to each his own.

I dont know if any of this help's at all but figure'd ide offer it

Heres a tip for your power needs.

I run a quick disconect on all my rigs front and back and have a sparebattery with a connector on it as well for self jump starts etc. Also have a set of jumper cables with on end crimped so i can plug and play so to speak.

I use Anderson Power Connectors Shown HERE but buy them locally for 12 bucks a piece or u can buy a lot of say 40 for 40bucks used.

Id run one to the rear of ur truck and wire a plug into your trailer batters with one, so when u hook up to your trailer bam!! you got more power, not to mention it will charge your batterys as its running. Plus then your trailer will act as a jumper box for your truck.

yea thats pretty much the plan, there will be a charge wire from the truck to the trailer so all i will have to do is hook up the truck to charge

i dont really need an A/C that i can live without but i will put some kind of small heter in there for the winter trips, with the inso it should heat easily

as for locking in ill have a way to lock the factory cross bar open and a latch on the inside

ehhhh just aint gunna happen im broke as chit right now, all my big bills hit around this time of the month so im broke for a week or two....or 3...works slow right now so no telling when my next check will be

jsut be carefull that you dont have it hooked to a non running truck and run the heater's it'll drain the batt's quick. unless you plan on runnin a solenoid
