the slo-vo build thread...

so what do you guys think about this...was just playing around with a hoop i had bent...and it actually kind of works with my shock layout...any opinions with a hoop crossed over the bar? the actual hoop would be about 2 inches taller

thanks man, i should be in e-ville monday or tuesday afternoon if you around we could meet up

Awesome. I am expecting my brackets in the mail Monday. Guess I'll have to wait to put them on. Then you'll get to see my POS DIY job lol.

end the shock hoop on top of the horizontal rail instead of up and over. Just my .02

i thought about that also....guess we'll see what happens when i get to it

was feeling lazy today, but i did put some speakers on the half doors with quick disconnects

Luckily in the BII I've got dash speakers. :D

Aww man, that sucks. Best of luck in everything, and let's hope you can keep your job...

to tell the truth i dont want the job, its a ****ed up mess working for family...just tired of getting screwed on my taxes and fighting tooth and nail with dad 24/7 and its just time to go our seperate ways...

lets just hope a decent job comes up...im 20 years old and have a house to keep the bills paid on i cant do without a paycheck every week...not really sure what im going to do

Jon, if you have any machining skills, I might be able to help you out, but it's in henderson....

Yeah, working with family usually sucks. I try to avoid it as much as possible. Somtimes its unavoidable though. I wish you the best of luck man. You've obviously got some skills, I'm sure you'll find work soon enough.

Just to lighten the mood a little - I just noticed your cb antenna mount. How's your SWR in that location? Looks like a 4' stick?

i saw you today, i passed by the bank on 54 and saw your rig sitn outside. that thing looks wicked in person! at first i thought it was was a buggy but i got closer and realised "oh shit, thats slovos rig!"

if you need a job quick, TTMA hires temporaries almost on the spot for $10.50/hr, usually around 50hrs a week (i got 72 one week when i was there). its not a hard job, you just gotta be quick and do what they tell ya and theyll leave you alone

we were hiring a good bit of people were im at but we kinda slowed down recently cause i think coal sales are going down

I could prolly get you on at my work, but I don't think its worth the 45 min drive.
