im planning on modifying the hinges so i can swap doors in a minute or 2, i like it so much better with the tops off it makes it so much more open
Me too, but I won't whore up your build thread with pics of my truck
For the record, the stock doors are pretty damn heavy. It's quite the balancing act to get the door lined up such that I can get the pins in (if you choose to use removable pins).
trust me i know all about it, i bolted them back on by myself once without sitting them on anything...wasnt fun
the second time a learned a trick hat made it easier, just need to hit the jy and find another set of hinges
cant get them mounted up yet, waiting on some tubeing to get the mounts madeso are we ever going to get some pics of BBCS bling
Yeah it sucks. When I pulled them off/put them on at the house, I used to hang em from the engine hoist haha.
I rarely swap em out at the house anymore, most of the time its at the campsite at the park. I'm fairly efficient at it now, but I end up with bruises on my thigh where the doors rest after every time I swap em.
Mine are full of sound deadening material as well, I need to pull that shit out.
