the slo-vo build thread...

Slo-Vo,
Great to meet ya, had a blast!
We offered the sawzall to chop the top and you could have welded it back on later without the dents! Now you gotta break out that buffer if ya have one! IF not borrow one from a local mall crawler cause there ain't none in the TB Crew!

I'm crashing the b2 into a tree as soon as I get home, it deserves it, she must die a long painfull, miserable trail beaten death.

Nate, I did a complete writeup in the show off forum, but this guy had a rock get wedged between the rim and the brake caliper, punchering the rim. If that wasn't bad enough, he drove 10 feet after getting it changed, and the driver side tire did the same thing:icon_rofl: This guy was not having a good day, he is the one that has the Yellow 02 Edge (not a TRS member, yet!)

just saw that thread and explanation, rough day sounds like an understatement.

Needless to say, being a fellow TRS'r, we stopped and helped him to get him on his way...Turkey Bay is also about being a friendly wheeler. Out there if someone gets stuck or needs help, almost everyone that passes by stops and asks if they need help or at least a ride...
SVT

look around im sure there is one close

time to get back to work on the ranga...gotta get the headers finished up this week and the half door hinges and a few other small things

so turkey bay sounds like quite the place

It is definitely the place, good all round fishing, camping, hiking, site seeing, even a nice restaraunt to dine in at...
Jon, you have 3 weeks to get that ranger done:icon_thumby:
SVT

Oh no Jon, Looks like the Expo will be the offroader and the Ranger the DD? LOL

and I watched the video, did you bust a hub? Sometime when there is no weight on one of the front tires you need to ride the brake a bit to "engage" the front Trutrac. Just trying to help out, not being nosy!
