Its allways bittersweet to watch your 'toy' go away after putting so much work into it. At least you've got a new toy to play with though!

well Jon, where is the link to the new thread?

Yea he changed doors before he headed out. No a/c and it was hot.

Link? The expo build thread is in this section

He did I took the first pictures Saturday and we met back up on Sunday before he left.

Saturday night we all went down to the main strip in Nashville and had a few. Very cool guy.

very cool truck. kinda sad to see it go, look forward to watchin the next build.

Hopefully it won't be gone from here, he acted like he might start a thread here.

The expo will be fun, getting into stuff I've never done so it makes it fun.

and fun is what it is all about:icon_thumby:

So, there was a Dallas meet this past weekend when I was in town (from Houston, ~4 hours away). There were a total of 8 Rangers with a final red Gen IV making up #8.

A black truck entered the parking lot, with a rear cage and some healthy meats. I instantly recognized it as 86 Slo Vo's truck from Tennessee, and was confused why it was in Texas. The driver got out, and we all introduced ourselves.

I didn't know you sold it, man! I got a good look at your handiwork, and it looks nice. Dan, Kryptonitecb, is a nice guy and was fun to hang out with.I'm actually giving him a manual hub here pretty soon. I like the cage and rear bumper/pan, and the sliders were cool. I actually drove it too, and it's stiffer than my ride. Then again, on the road, mine is too "floaty" and soft, which I dont care for. I also like the steering wheel, and the steering angles are true. Good job. Nice stinger bumper, too. Your truck looks a lot different in person. I guess pictures dont do some of our rides justice.

Kryptonite is now running 37's on 16.5 beadlocks, and is gonna swap in a D60 & 14 bolt.

BTW, he says that the 63" leaves and shackle fitment make the truck "dogleg" a little bit. Do you know why this could be happening?

Anyways, thought I'd share a couple pics:
